Are you prepared for Red Flag Days, PG&E Shutoffs?

Have you…

Practiced opening and closing garage door without power?

Checked to see if your burglar alarm has a backup battery?  If is does, how long will it last, do you have a spare?

Made sure your house number is very visible day and night? 

Prepared your go-bag and last-minute grab list? 

Put your flashlights in an easy-to-reach spot?  Gotten extra batteries for them?

Gotten in the habit of leaving your cell phone by your bed at night?  

Gotten in the habit of keeping phone chargers charged?

You Should:

Keep your gas tank 3/4 full.

Keep extra cash in small bills and a roll of quarters.

Back your car into the driveway so its easier to get out in an emergency.

Conserve water, turn off yard irrigation.

You Should NOT:

Use BBQ or fire pits outdoors, especially charcoal or wood but also gas or propane.

Use a source of heat or open flame outdoors including cooking, power tools, mowers.

Smoke outdoors.

Drive or park in dry grass or vegetation.
